Last year I wrote a static blog generator called beatrice, with the intent of applying my knowledge of Go (not the game; the programming language) and finally starting a kind-of-serious personal blog. It wasn’t my first time trying to start a blog, but I planned it to be the definitive one.

Naturally, I stopped programming in Go and my interest in blogging dwindled.

Then I started thinking, “huh, I guess starting a blog after finishing university will be pretty interesting…”, but now, by impulse, I simply started writing this post – and right at the beginning of my penultimate semester at the uni, thus betraying my promise with myself.

Therefore, regarding blogging, I simply won’t keep promises anymore. My posts will probably be quite erratic, but by writing my thoughts I’ll be able to rationalize them a bit better. Hopefully.
